AILANTO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When enquiring about an order always be sure to reference the pattern number or name, color and quantity required.
Reserves placed on fabric will be honored for 5 business days. Cuttings for approval (CFA) will be held for 10 business days after being sent from our warehouse.
Larger returnable samples are available on loan upon request. Returnable samples are to be returned within 30 days and a prepaid return envelope is provided with each shipment.
Quotations are valid for a 1-month period only.
When placing an order be sure ALL information is provided, including pattern name or number, color, all shipping instructions and special instructions.
If an exact color match is required, please request a cutting of present stock for approval (CFA) or send a cutting to be matched.
Color variations often cannot be avoided from one dye lot to another.
Time can be saved if you specify the end use for which the fabric is intended; and if it is for draperies, please specify the lengths needed.
Multiple-Width Applications – Fabric, unlike paper, is not a completely stable substance; therefore it cannot be taken for granted that when it is printed, the pattern will invariably be completely“square” upon the cloth.
Although every effort is made when printing to avoid distortion, occasionally it will exist. Therefore, when planning multiple-width draperies, please make certain, BEFORE CUTTING, that pattern alignment is adequate to produce a satisfactory end result.
Fabrics minimum order is 1 meter
Wallpapers minimum order is 1 roll (10 meters). Please ensure your wallpaper installer has calculated the correct quantity of wallpaper as Ailanto Design will not be held responsible if incorrect quantities are ordered. Please ensure you have read Ailanto Designs hanging instructions and fully understand the product is suitable prior to purchasing our product.
By placing an order with Ailanto Design, you confirm that you accept and understand all terms and conditions. If you are unsure at any point, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be assisted with any queries before you place an order.
Retail payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, cheques or bank transfer. Trade payments can be made by bank transfer and debit card only. Payment must be made in full before an order can be placed.
DELIVERY LEAD TIMES
Ailanto Design makes a good faith effort to deliver within the scheduled time frame but delivery times are to be treated as estimates only. Ailanto Design cannot be held responsible for delivery delays due to circumstances beyond our control. Ailanto Design has a right to reject, refuse or amend an order with no liability where a design would breach health and safety regulation.
DELIVERY TO UK CUSTOMERS
Please specify shipping instructions if a particular carrier is preferred. If no instructions are provided, shipments will be routed by the carrier we deem most expedient.
Ailanto Design does not provide delivery service. Client’s chosen method of transportation is solely their responsibility.
Shipping costs vary depending on size, weight and fragility of items purchased. All packing, shipping and insurance charges are the client’s responsibility.
The client’s couriers should provide the necessary insurance to cover the order. A signature from the client’s chosen courier upon collection confirms that they have received the goods in perfect condition. Boxes will be labelled in accordance with the client instructions.
Ailanto Design cannot be held responsible for damage to items in transit once they leave the premises.
Delivery arrangements organised by Ailanto Design are made on behalf of the client, a full delivery address must be confirmed in writing. If the delivery address changes, it is the client’s responsibility to communicate the change in writing. Ailanto Design would need to obtain an updated delivery quotation from an independent shipping company and amend all necessary paperwork.
Ailanto design will aim to despatch all cushion orders with a UK delivery address within 2-3 working days of confirming your order, providing the goods are in stock. Please allow up to 5-7 working days for delivery from the day your order is processed.
If you are concerned that your order has not arrived after 10 days of placing your order with us, please contact us via email on email@example.com.
If you are placing an Urgent order, please contact us BEFORE you place the order so we can check stock levels and shipping time before you order and we will do our best to meet your project deadline.
DELIVERY TO EU AND WORLDWIDE CUSTOMERS
We aim to despatch all EU and International orders within 3-4 working days of confirming your order. Please allow up to 7-14 business days for EU orders and 5-7 business days for USA orders. All other worldwide customers, please contact us direct to place an order firstname.lastname@example.org.
For orders shipped outside of the UK, it is the client’s responsibility to notify Ailanto Design in writing prior to payment, if shipping documentation such as Certificate of origin / Packing list are required by customs at the final destination.
Please be aware that fees are applicable for Certificate of origin and varies from country to country.
If you wish to cancel your order with us, you must contact us in writing by email to email@example.com within 24 hours of placing your order. A telephone call is not a valid cancellation. We will not be able to cancel your order after the goods have been dispatched.
RETURNS AND CLAIMS
Please ensure that all goods are inspected before they are cut, made up or used as once cut they cannot be returned for credit under any circumstances.
No returns are allowed without written authorization from Ailanto Design.
No returns can be accepted after 30 days from the invoice date.
Fabric cannot be returned for credit after it has been cut. Meterage must be inspected for flaws and correctness of pattern, color, quantity and quality. Fabric cannot be returned for credit if it has been processed by the purchaser in any way.
No returns can be allowed on any custom product and no cancellations are allowed once the order is in production.
Since color variations cannot be avoided from one dye lot to another, we cannot issue a credit for dye lot variations. If an exact match is required, please request a reserve and cutting of current stock for approval prior to shipping.
Installation guides supplied should be followed.
Ailanto Design cannot be responsible for damages to fabric, wallpaper or furniture that occurs in transit, storage and delivery.
Any authorized returns for 1st quality merchandise or any refused shipments are subject to a 25% restocking fee and all freight charges. Your request for return of any damaged or incorrect merchandise must include the invoice number, date of invoice and reason for the return. All requests for return and credit must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.
A refund will only be given if there is a technical or production fault with the product.
WALLCOVERINGS – All returns must be authorized. No returns after 30 days. No returns on cut or processed items (ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE INSPECTED PRIOR TO CUTTING). No returns on special order items. No return on handpainted items. All authorized returns are subject to a 25% return charge unless defective.
For any orders placed through our stockists, please contact the stockist directly to arrange a return within 14 days of receipt.
Fabrics and wallcoverings are not guaranteed against color fading, shrinkage or wear. Fabric widths and repeats may vary. Fabrics used as draperies, when held against light, cannot be guaranteed to be free of visible flaws. Few fabrics are completely stable. Stretching or shrinking may occur as a result of fabric breathing and thereby absorbing moisture. A 2% – 3% change is reasonable.
SPECIAL PROCESSES AND SERVICES
The addition of topical and backcoating treatments to any fabric can change the color, hand or performance. Ailanto Design will not accept responsibility for any fabric that has been finished by an outside finisher.
Most fabrics may be Teflon treated. Ailanto linen is suitable for dry cleaning, and washing up to 40 degrees, and is susceptible to shrinkage so should not be washed in high temperatures.
We can arrange cigarette testing, rub testing and flameproofing at an extra cost should you need it. If this is requested, in addition to this, the fabric will need to be used in combination with a suitable FR interliner or backcoating to meet the relevant FR standards.
Ailanto cotton velvet fabric is 100% cotton but is only suitable for dry cleaning. Our velvets can be printed on flameproof fabric for commercial use on special request.
